The Opportunity!

We are currently hiring a full time Commercial Lines Regional Trainer at HUB Canada West to join our Trainers Team. Reporting to the Director, Commercial Insurance Operations, the Commercial Lines Regional Trainer is responsible for delivering a positive and enriching experience to current and future staff members to successfully perform their respective job functions within HUB Canada West. They will also be the primary resource for Commercial Lines operational process & procedures, systems & tools.

A day in the life -

Support & assist our Commercial Lines Teams in our HUB Prairies Region (s): Alberta, Saskatchewan & Manitoba

Facilitate and schedule the HUB Ready Training Path (Commercial Lines) for new & existing staff members on Operational Processes & Procedures.

Provide support and assistance for all commercial lines related inquiries

Conduct training follow-ups and refreshers with new and existing staff members

Communicate and retain feedback as defined by curriculum and make recommendations for training improvements

Deliver webinar, in person a/o on demand recorded training sessions as per HUB Way processes & procedures

Subject matter expert in Commercial Lines policies & procedures as well as supporting new training/workflow initiatives a/o tools and resources and system upgrades.

Provide support to new new brokerage acquisitions \xe2\x80\x93 training new commercial staff as per the HUB Way and providing support a/o assistance post go-live

Additional projects as assigned

What you will bring to our team -

Strongly preferred 5-10 years of insurance industry experience

Preferred 2+ years of delivering training programs to end users and facilitating presentations

A well established knowledge of Commercial Lines Insurance and brokerage operations

A good understanding of Commercial Lines Insurance in Saskatchewan and Manitoba is preferred

CAIB Designation a/o Level 2 Insurance License

Possess strong written and verbal communication skills necessary for interacting with employees at all levels as well as the ability to structure learning materials and methods to learners at various levels.

Strong organizational and time management skills

Superior verbal and written communication skills, including instructional and presentation skills

Strong experience in Microsoft Office particularly in MS Word, MS Excel & MSPower Point, Applied EPIC (desired), Share Point, MS Teams & Zoom

Solid interpersonal and engagement skills and a positive attitude

Self-motivated with ability to work independently or within a team structure
