Our client, a global banking leader is looking for a COMMERCIAL LENDING TEAM LEAD to join their high-performing team in Vancouver permanently. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Mandarin and have an excellent understanding of local SME business. In this role, you will act in charge of the overall growth of the commercial banking and loan portfolio within the Vancouver area. Salary ranges from 110-150K

Responsibilities:

• Identify, acquire, and develop new business opportunities related to commercial lending and financing
• Build long-term profitable loan portfolio with existing clients
• Contribute to and support the company\'s high-growth strategy
• Develop and execute individual marketing strategies
• Maintain strong relationship-based selling skills, client relationship management, and networking skills
• Exercise sound credit judgment to ensure high-quality loans through a sales-focused strategy to generate high-quality loan proposals

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary qualification, or equivalent work experience
• 10-15 years of relevant local experience
• Experience in commercial account management and commercial lending is a must
• Strong knowledge of commercial credit rules and guidelines
• Fluency in Mandarin is required
• Excellent knowledge of the marketplace, particularly concerning SME and Mid-Market commercial lending space
• Relationship-driven, strong ability to establish, maintain, and manage client relations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
