Loblaws Real Estate Legal Team manages all real estate matters including overseeing over 2,400 leases for the Loblaw Companies locations, including Loblaw, Fortinos and Shoppers Drug Mart stores. Your responsibilities will include dealing with commercial lease renewals, amendments and extensions, sub-leases, and all other related ancillary documents, and providing general support to the business on leasing and real estate matters. Liaising between different business groups and departments within Loblaw, you will need to employ a dynamic work ethic. This role will be located at Loblaws head office in Brampton.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of leasing experience gained with a major law firm or corporation. General commercial real estate experience as well as experience with title searches will also be seen as a plus. In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have exceptional written and communication skills, be organized, detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and take initiative.
