Position Summary:
The Site Supervisor / Foreman will be responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of field operations across multiple projects. Their scope will vary depending on project size:
Smaller Projects
: They will operate independently, taking full ownership of site coordination, safety, scheduling, and quality control.
Larger Projects
: They will work under the direction of the assigned Project Manager, supporting execution while maintaining oversight of field crews and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise site activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Coordinate with trades, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and inspections.
Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and team members to ensure alignment and transparency
Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience working in the commercial electrical industry
Journeyman Electrical license
Proven experience in a supervisory role within commercial electrical projects
Strong understanding of site safety, scheduling, and quality assurance.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Certification in health and safety (e.g., WHMIS, First Aid) is an asset.
Must have a valid driver's license and insurable driving record
Pass a pre-employment drug test
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of electricians and other workers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Familiarity with and adherence to the OESC.
Knowledge of electrical safety standards
OSHA 30 certified
CPR certified
