We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in various areas of the facility. Conduct commercial cleaning activities such as restroom sanitation, window washing, and floor maintenance. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained in good working condition. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning duties. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a clean and organized environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in cleaning or custodial services, preferably in a commercial setting. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team. Good physical stamina; ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
