Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes.

Duties

Supervise daily construction activities and manage on-site personnel to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to effectively communicate project requirements. Utilize construction management software, including ProCore and Bluebeam, to track project progress and maintain documentation. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that all expenditures are accounted for and within financial constraints. Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship throughout the construction process. Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to coordinate project schedules and resolve any issues that arise. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential problems, and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Prepare reports on project status, including timelines, budgets, and quality assessments for stakeholders.

Experience

Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam is preferred. Demonstrated ability in budgeting, construction estimating, quality control, and supervising teams effectively. Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards is essential. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail in all aspects of work. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $117,449.00-$124,397.00 per year
