Job Title: Commercial Construction Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are considered.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.

- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information.

- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and requirements.

- Prepare and submit bid proposals, including breakdowns of labor, materials, and overhead costs.

- Monitor and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle to reflect changes and ensure accuracy.

- Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

- Review and analyze historical data to improve estimating processes and accuracy.

- Assist in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.

- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and construction methods.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

- Proven experience as a construction estimator in the commercial sector.

- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office, Pro COR

- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.

- Strong communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
