The Role: Commercial Account Executive

Summary of Position

Sales professionals have the opportunity to promote HUB\xe2\x80\x99s full suite of insurance products and services from a recognized global leader in the industry. Through our Sales Enablement team, our producers are supported by best in class research tools and programs to continuously provide timely insight and information to our customers. Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Effectively managing customer expectations

\xc2\xb7 Answer telephones and assist clients with questions regarding their coverage

\xc2\xb7 Communicate with company personnel regarding the client\xe2\x80\x99s needs and/or problems

\xc2\xb7 Understand agency rating system and company rating systems and websites

\xc2\xb7 Negotiate with the underwriters from other insurance companies on rates and coverage

\xc2\xb7 Follow-up on requested changes, renewals, etc. with insurance companies

\xc2\xb7 Reviewing and analyzing claims and discussing with clients

\xc2\xb7 Discussing & Explaining coverage to clients

\xc2\xb7 Accounts receivable follow-up

\xc2\xb7 New business and renewal sales presentations

\xc2\xb7 Closing the deal - up selling/ cross selling

\xc2\xb7 Prospecting for new business usually $20,000 to $100,000 premium

\xc2\xb7 Preparing marketing submissions, proposals and summaries of insurance

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for checking the accuracy of policies, endorsement, audits, etc. received from the insurance companies

\xc2\xb7 Issuing certificated of insurance and motor vehicle liability slips

\xc2\xb7 Reviewing payments

\xc2\xb7 Other miscellaneous duties as required

Requirements

\xc2\xb7 Level 2 General Insurance License

\xc2\xb7 Driven to achieve sales results

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships

\xc2\xb7 Thorough knowledge of commercial insurance

\xc2\xb7 Strong commitment to personal growth and development

\xc2\xb7 Excellent presentation and communication skills are a must

\xc2\xb7 Strong organization skills
