  • HOTE 56 Hospitality and Tourism Law (Surrey Campus) - Mondays 12pm-3pm, Tuesdays 3pm-6pm
  • _ HOTE 9 Intercultural Communications with Global Perspectives (Surrey Campus) - _Mondays 3pm-6pm
  • HOTE 8 Geographical Destinations (Surrey Campus) - Mondays 6pm-9pm, Wednesdays 12pm-3pm, Wednesdays 6pm-9pm, Fridays 12pm-3pm
  • HOTE 19 Accommodations Operations (Surrey Campus) - Mondays 6pm-9pm, Wednesdays 6pm-9pm
  • HOTE 93 Computers (Surrey Campus) - Tuesdays 9am-12pm, Tuesdays 6pm-9pm, Wednesdays 6pm-9pm, Thursdays 6pm-9pm
  • HOTE 6 Casino Operations Management (Surrey Campus) - Tuesdays 12pm-3pm, Tuesdays 6pm-3pm, Wednesdays 3pm-6pm
  • _ HOTE 15 Food and Beverage Skills and Service (Vancouver Campus) - Tuesdays 6pm-9pm_
  • HOTE 13 Sales (Surrey Campus) - Thursdays 6pm-9pm
  • HOTE 3 Festivals and Event Planning (Surrey Campus) - Thursdays 3pm-6pm, Fridays 9am-12pm
  • HOTE 97 Train the Trainer (Surrey Campus) - Fridays 9am-12pm
  • HOTE 18 Conferencing and Banqueting (Surrey Campus) - Saturdays 9am-12pm
  • HOTE 16 Introduction to Wine, Beer and Spirits (Surrey Campus) - Saturdays 12pm-3pm
Responsibilities
  • Teaches students using a diverse and systematic plan of lectures, presentations, demonstrations, discussion groups, case studies, field assignments and independent or group projects.
  • Develops curriculum and prepares teaching materials and outlines for courses including audio visual and web-related materials where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate weekly attendance and assignment logs on the system.
  • Prepares, administers and marks tests, exams, projects and other assessments to monitor and evaluate students' progress. Provides detailed feedback and records on student performance.
  • Adheres to Canadian College policies and procedures and maintaining confidentiality of student information.
  • Attend staff training sessions, faculty meetings, student disciplinary meetings, and other mandatory events.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in your area of expertise (master level is an asset).
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in hospitality/tourism industry.
  • Minimum 2 years teaching or training experience.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural setting.
  • Proficiency working with technology and different online tools.
  • Demonstrated instructional ability.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to plan, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Passionate about contributing to students learning process.
