Overview: The Instructor provides an enriching learning environment for students by using holistic and career-oriented teaching methods. By maintaining an organized and structured classroom environment, the Instructor helps ensure that students are progressing effectively. The administration of assignments, tests, projects and exams will help students stay engaged and provide the Instructor with an accurate gauge of student success. The Instructor works under the guidance and supervision of the Department of Academic Affairs at the College. The position is a "Day Time" teaching position which requires you to have previous teaching experiences. Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare and deliver quality classroom instruction in lecture and/or laboratory format based on the approved curricula
Implement and manage company policies and procedures such as attendance, grade reports, midterm reports, student advising forms, and all other assigned educational materials on a timely basis
Timely completion and submission of all grade books and marking of all tests, examinations and assignments
Participate in faculty/staff meetings, committee meetings, professional development workshops, graduation ceremonies, and other school functions as requested
Qualifications:
Holds a relevant IT certificate: CompTIA A+, Red Hat, MCSE, and Cisco (CCNA and/ CCNP).
Previous teaching Experience in post-secondary diploma level program is an asset.
Completion of post-secondary and/ Bachelors education in relevant field or equivalent industry experience in computer or IT field.
Experience in any of the following: TCP/IP networking, Cisco IOS, Routers, Switches, Firewall, VMWare, Windows Operating System, Windows Server, and Linux.
Ability to communicate well with diverse population.
Able to integrate industry, professional and life experiences into a classroom learning environment.
