Job Description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Bilingual Collections Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for posting payments, managing collections activities, and maintaining accurate financial records using ERP and spreadsheet systems. This role requires strong communication skills in both English and French , as well as a proactive approach to collections and account reconciliation.
Responsibilities:

• Post all payments daily, including cheques, direct deposits, and credit cards.
• Reconcile daily deposits to ensure accurate financial records.
• Conduct outbound collection calls and follow up with emails to ensure timely resolution of outstanding accounts.
• Maintain regular contact with accounts (minimum once per month).
• Work manually using spreadsheets for tracking and reporting purposes.
• Use ERP system to manage and post transactions.
• Analyze and update account data efficiently and accurately.
• Support continuous improvement in collections efficiency and customer communication.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

• 2-3 years of experience handling high-volume collections.
• Bilingual in English and [Second Language] (verbal and written) is required.
• Proven experience in collections or accounts receivable, ideally in a high-volume environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and sorting.
• Previous experience using an ERP system is required;
• Excellent phone communication skills; must be comfortable with outbound calling.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
