Job Description

We are in the process of expanding our team and are looking for a Collections Specialist. This role is situated in the Utilities/Infrastructure industry. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for handling a range of tasks related to customer accounts and collections.Responsibilities

• Facilitate the processing of customer credit applications with precision and efficiency.
• Ensure the maintenance of accurate customer credit records.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise.
• Monitor customer accounts and take action where necessary.
• Verify customer information and make necessary updates or changes.
• Utilize various software systems for accounting and data management tasks.
• Handle inbound customer calls and provide excellent customer service.
• Carry out billing functions and claim administration.
• Implement collection processes where required.
• Learn and navigate new systems quickly to better assist customers.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the Utilities/Infrastructure industry.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.
• Experience with Epic Software is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Ability to handle and manage Answering Inbound Calls.
• Familiarity with Billing Functions in a utilities/infrastructure setting.
• Knowledge and understanding of Claim Administration.
• Expertise in Collection Processes.
• Exceptional Customer Service skills.
