What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Be Doing

Collateral Analyst works closely with a variety of internal departments and external clients to ensure the objectives of the business unit are achieved. This role is responsible for routine client transactions and the position may require a significant level of interaction with management of various internal and external groups. The Collateral analyst also provides analysis and feedback to the Account Executive regarding perceived asset deterioration, discrepancies, etc.

How You\xe2\x80\x99ll Succeed

  • Managing Client Relationships \xe2\x80\x93 Take responsibility for resolving client concerns or issues quickly and effectively in a timely manner, using resourceful and constructive solutions to address. Manage the relationship with the clients effectively in a professional manner in order to improve client experience.
  • Compliance to Internal Controls and Procedures \xe2\x80\x93 Ensure ongoing compliance of the terms and conditions of the authorized credit. Monitor ongoing risks associated with accounts to ensure compliance to internal controls and procedures.
  • Subject Matter Expertise \xe2\x80\x93 Applying your experience with asset based lending will enable you to thrive in this role. A deep and broad understanding of collateral based loans, productive and effective working relationships with borrowers will enhance your performance in this department. You will be regularly working with inventory, accounts receivable, equipment and real estate loans. Strong analytical skill, communication skills, ability to work well under tight deadlines and produce work that is error-free are qualities that will ensure your success.
Who You Are
  • You have a degree/diploma in Business or Commerce.
  • You give meaning to data. You enjoy investigating complex problems, and making sense of information. You\'re confident in your ability to communicate detailed information in an impactful way.
  • You can demonstrate experience in Microsoft Suite and advanced Microsoft Excel. It is an asset if you have knowledge and understanding of Stucky, CEAS, MIF.
