The Cognizant Microsoft Business Group (MBG)\xe2\x80\x99s Intelligent Workplace team is growing fast and we are looking for our next Collaboration Architect to join us. ROLE DESCRIPTION This role will serve as an architect and project lead for Enterprise Microsoft 365 Collaboration engagements. This role\xe2\x80\x99s contributions will include driving large-scale projects to completion with high levels of client satisfaction. A kay aspect of this role will be to support, develop and coach consultants to progress in their career and go deeper in their areas of technical depth. What will you be doing day-to-day? Delivery

• Provide project leadership for large-scale Microsoft Collaboration engagements
• Perform hands-on tasks including migration, scripting, automation or development
• Develop strategic roadmaps, executive briefings or other presentations
• Provide delivery oversight including team communications, escalation support and guidance on strategic project work
• Breaking large tasks into smaller \xe2\x80\x98chunks\xe2\x80\x99 of work that can be completed by other less senior consultants
• Collaborate with the delivery management team to strive for project delivery excellence
• Contribute to the establishment and refinement of MBG standards, including creation/maintenance of templates and deployment runbooks, documenting best practices and enhancing delivery methodology
• Demonstrate an ability to work on and potentially lead multiple projects simultaneously

Thought Leadership

• Participate in practice level planning and go-to-market strategy development
• Partner with the Centers of Excellence to enable delivery consistency and uniformity across MBG delivery teams
• Act as a \xe2\x80\x98voice of the MBG\xe2\x80\x99 to promote market relevance

What experience do you need to be successful in this role?

• Entrepreneurial approach to business, client and team interactions
• Experience leading large projects that include offshore delivery teams
• Outstanding demonstrated verbal and written communication
• Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills
• Experience uncovering business challenges and developing tailored solutions to address and/or mitigate those needs
• Experience designing collaboration solutions built on Modern SharePoint Online and Teams
• Comfortable presenting to technical and non-technical audiences at all levels within an organization

• Strong ability to multitask
• At least 8 years of technical consulting experience

What technical skills are required to be successful in this role?

• Experience planning and designing modern intranets in SharePoint Online
• Experience designing and implementing form and workflow solution using Power Automate and Power Apps
• Experience planning and performing large-scale migrations from on-premises SharePoint to SharePoint Online
• Possess Microsoft 365 knowledge and understanding of security and compliance capabilities related to collaboration (DLP, Azure B2B, AIP, Classifications)
• Possess SharePoint product knowledge and understanding of SharePoint Online features (Term Store, Modern vs. Classic, Hub Sites, Web Parts, Site Designs, SharePoint Migration Assessment Tool)
• Solid understanding of SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams architecture and administration
• Implementation of collaboration solutions including multiple Microsoft 365 apps and services.
• Usage of 3rd party content migration tools like Sharegate and Metalogix
• Working knowledge of JSON, JavaScript, CSS and KQL (Keyword Query language)

What education and certification credentials are needed for this role?

• Microsoft Certifications preferred
  • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900)
  • Managing Microsoft Teams (MS-700)
  • Managing Microsoft SharePoint Server 2016 (MS 70-339)
  • Microsoft Information Protection Administrator (SC-400)
  • Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900)

Does the role require travel?

• Traditionally, up to 20% regional travel required as needed
• Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all travel is suspended until further notice
