Responsibilities

Deliver engaging coding lessons tailored to students' age and skill levels Support students in understanding programming fundamentals, algorithms, and problem-solving techniques Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and collaboration Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement Develop lesson plans that incorporate computer science principles aligned with curriculum standards Incorporate technology tools effectively to enhance learning experiences Collaborate with other senseis to improve instructional strategies and student outcomes

Requirements

Experience working with children in educational or tutoring settings Strong background in math, computer science, or STEM related fields Prior classroom experience is preferred, especially in special education or inclusive settings Excellent teaching skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with educational software or platforms Passion for inspiring students in STEM subjects and fostering a love for learning Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs Relevant certifications or training in education or special education are a plus

Pay: From $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 12 per week
