Our client in Concord is a world leader in the supply of products for the manufacturing of corrugated plastic pipe. Their products are used in fluid and process applications in end markets such as: industrial, medical, automotive and agriculture.

Location: Concord, ON (Hwy 7/Creditstone Rd)
Days 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Afternoons 4:00 pm to 12 am
Pay: up to $30/hr. (based on experience)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs a wide variety of activities on various machinery throughout the plant (i.e., CNC set-up, CNC Machining and Manual Machining).
• Read and work from part drawings and follow verbal instructions.
• Set up and operate CNC Precision Mill/Lathes- 3, 4 and 5 axes, and/or Water Jet Cutting Machine.
• Pull raw material inventory according to order specifications;
• Properly load material onto cutting bed with appropriate material handling equipment (may require lifting of up to 50 lbs.).
• Monitor and manage (including troubleshooting) the cutting operation.
• Use various pneumatic or electrical hand tools.
• Ensure that the workplace is kept clean and at the end of the shift all the machinery and floors are swept clean.
• Other related duties and responsibilities as assign by the Manager or his designate.

• Machine products according to specified drawings/ blueprints and procedures.
• over 5 years of CNC experience on similar machinery and machined components.
• Ability to use lifting devices and jib crane.
• Read and interpret casting and fabrication drawings/ symbols, drawing specifications, materials and technical manuals.
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination with strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
