We are currently hiring an experienced
CNC Puma 5100 Machinist
to support precision machining operations for theaerospace, nuclear, and defense
sectors. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in bothturning and milling operations
, working on high-performanceDoosan Puma 5100 Mill-Turn machines
.This position involves machining complex parts to tight tolerances, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring parts meet strict quality and dimensional requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and program
Puma 5100 Mill-Turn CNC machines
. Perform both turning and light milling operations on precision aerospace and nuclear components. Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions. Conduct in-process and final inspections to verify dimensional accuracy. Optimize machining parameters and tool paths to improve efficiency and part quality. Troubleshoot issues related to tooling, machine setup, and part geometry. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC machining with both
lathe and milling
operations. Hands-on experience withDoosan Puma series
(5100 or similar models). Proven ability to hold tight tolerances on high-precision components. Experience inaerospace, defense, or nuclear manufacturing
environments is an asset. Ability to read complex drawings and apply GD&T principles. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Diploma, Certificate of Qualification, or apprenticeship in machining preferred.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
