CNC Programmer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to fabricate precision parts according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. The CNC Programmer will work closely with engineers and machinists to ensure high-quality production standards are met.

Duties

Develop and optimize CNC programs for milling machines and lathes using Fusion 360 and/or other programming software. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining processes and specifications. Set up CNC machines, including tool selection, calibration, and adjustments. Conduct quality checks using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure parts meet required tolerances. Troubleshoot issues with CNC machinery and programming to maintain production efficiency. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and reduce waste in the manufacturing workflow. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

5+ years Proficiency in CNC programming, particularly with Fusin 360 software. Experience with FANUC control system operating milling machines and lathes in a manufacturing setting. Strong skills in blueprint reading and technical documentation interpretation. Basic math skills for calculations related to machining processes. Ability to fabricate components as needed based on project requirements. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Familiarity with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, MasterCAM for part design is preferred.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
