We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC milling machines and possess a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and quality control. This role involves setting up and operating CNC equipment, ensuring precision and efficiency in production. Candidates with knowledge of Fanuc controls, CNC programming, CAD software, and mechanical assembly are highly desirable. Responsibilities
Operate CNC milling machines, including CNC lathes and other machining equipment, ensuring accurate production according to specifications.
Program and troubleshoot CNC machines using controls and CNC programming skills.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models (SolidWorks preferred) to set up machining operations.
Perform machine setup, calibration, and routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct quality inspections using calipers, hand tools, and other measurement devices to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine operation when necessary.
Assist with welding, assembly, packaging, and handling materials using forklifts or hand tools as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
Collaborate with team members in manufacturing processes to meet production goals efficiently.
Qualifications
Proven experience operating CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar machining equipment in a manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of controls, CNC programming, blueprint reading, and CAD software such as SolidWorks.
Mechanical knowledge related to machining processes, press brake machines, welding, and assembly techniques.
Ability to use calipers, hand tools, basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
Experience with quality control procedures to ensure parts meet specifications.
Warehouse experience is a plus; familiarity with forklift operation is desirable but not mandatory.
Basic understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and manufacturing automation systems.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
