CNC Programmer - Lathe & Milling
Location: Hamilton
Pay: $26.00 up to $28.00
Shift: Afternoons
We are looking for a skilled CNC Programmer with strong experience in both lathe and milling operations to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technical, and committed to producing high-precision, high-quality parts.
Responsibilities:
Program, set up, and operate CNC lathe and milling machines
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models
Develop efficient machining processes and toolpaths
Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for various materials
Perform offsets, adjustments, and troubleshooting during production
Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards
Maintain equipment and ensure safe operation of all machinery
Requirements:
3+ years of CNC programming experience (lathe & milling required)
Strong knowledge of G-code, CAM software, and machining principles
Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring tools
Experience with setup, tooling adjustments, and machine optimization
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
