Position Summary:


Develop complex multi-axis CNC programs for aerospace components using CATIA V5, focusing on precision, efficiency, and manufacturability. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of machining strategies into production workflows.


Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of machine operations, CNC programming, and machining techniques Independent & Reliable: Works effectively with minimal supervision, using sound judgment and initiative
Key Responsibilities:


Develop and optimize NC/CNC programs for milling, turning, drilling, or other machining operations using CAD/CAM software. Coordinate with the offshore team to proactively identify and resolve technical challenges, improving process efficiency and maintaining schedule adherence. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances to generate accurate machining programs. Conduct simulation and verification of NC programs to ensure error-free execution on CNC machines. Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve machining or tooling issues. Modify existing NC programs for process improvements, cost reduction, or new part introduction. Maintain and update documentation for NC programs, tooling, and process changes. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards throughout programming and production. Provide technical support and training to operators on NC program execution and troubleshooting.
Qualifications & Skills:


Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field. Proven experience in NC/CNC programming for sheet metal, machining, or composite parts. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., CATIA, NX, Mastercam, or equivalent). Strong understanding of machining processes, tolerances, cutting tools, and materials. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs. Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Experience in aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing environments. * Knowledge of multi-axis machining and advanced tooling strategies.
