CNC Programmer
with strong experience inMastercam
to join in our Engineering department.Key Responsibilities
Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam for milling and turning operations. Develop efficient tool paths for 3-axis and 5-axis machining centers. Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds to maximize productivity and ensure part quality. Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T specifications. Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and production leads to improve machining efficiency and reduce cycle times. Verify programs using simulation and perform first-piece validation. Maintain organized and up-to-date program files, setup sheets, and documentation.
Qualifications
Minimum
5 years of CNC programming experience
in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in Mastercam
(required). Strong understanding of machining principles, materials, and tooling. Ability to read and interprettechnical drawings, blueprints, and 3D CAD models
. Experience with aerospace or precision machining (preferred but not mandatory). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work in a Canadian Controlled Goods workplace (minimum of no criminal record).Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
