As a Falk CNC Programmer, you will work with our Project Execution teams, Product Development, and Factory Production members to support custom design elements with precise machine programs.
Key Accountabilities

• Support the organization with all aspects of CNC programming
• Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with these blueprints
• Consider tools required to cut materials, and program machines accordingly
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines and software as they arise
• Tool calibration and offsets on CNC machines
• Track cutting tool inventory
• Troubleshoot and optimize NC code
• Coordinate with software vendors to develop post-processors
• Coordinate with vendors for future machine integration

Requirements*

• CAM programming experience a must
• Experience running various CNC machines (nesting machines, milling machines, turrets, etc.)
• Database driven NC programming experience is a strong asset (TruNest, Microvellum, etc.)
• Cabinet Maker or other Journeyman background with CNC experience is a strong asset
• Database knowledge an asset
• 3D CAD experience an asset
• Leadership skills an asset
