About the Role

This position is responsible for generating and polishing optical components (precision lenses) using CNC machines

Primary Responsibilities

• Set up CNC program
• Generate and polish optical components
• Grind optical components
• Edge optical components
• Hand polish optical components
• Inspect/measure optical components to ensure conformity to specified tolerances

Desired Education and Experiences

• Degree in Engineering or demonstrated work experience in a related discipline
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Strong technical knowledge, capabilities
• Sound technical problem solving skills
