We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and machining, with experience in operating various CNC machines including lathes and milling machines. This role is essential for ensuring the precision and quality of our manufactured products through effective programming and operation of CNC equipment.
Responsibilities
Develop, write, and modify CNC programs for various machining operations using CAD software such as SolidWorks.
Set up and operate CNC lathes, milling machines, and press brake machines to produce high-quality components.
Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances.
Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks within the manufacturing process.
Conduct quality control checks using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure adherence to specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
Collaborate with team members in assembly and packaging processes to ensure timely production schedules are met.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
Proven experience in CNC programming, with proficiency in operating CNC lathes, milling machines, and press brake machines.
Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) for creating and modifying designs.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints effectively.
Experience with welding techniques is a plus.
Basic math skills are required for calculations related to machining processes.
Prior warehouse experience is beneficial, along with familiarity with hand tools used in manufacturing settings.
