CNC Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong stone knowledge and experience in operating CNC machinery in the stone industry. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality control, ensuring that all fabricated parts meet specifications and standards. The CNC Operator will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components for the stone industry

Duties

• Program CNC machines using CAD software to create detailed specifications for production.
• Set up and operate CNC machinery, including 5 axis CNC Saw and CNC router, to fabricate parts according to engineering drawings.
• Conduct quality control checks using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure parts meet required tolerances.
• Utilize hand tools for assembly and adjustments as necessary during the production process.
• Package finished products for shipment or storage, ensuring they are secure and labeled correctly.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
• Collaborate with team members in the warehouse to manage inventory and assist in the movement of materials as needed.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the machining process, making necessary adjustments or repairs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator in the stone industry
• Proficiency in programming CNC machines using specialized CAD software for the stone industry is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with quality control processes
• Experience with hand tools and welding techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a warehouse setting, including lifting materials as needed.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.41-$28.94 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 48 per week
