Unity Recruitments Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

Manufacturing and inspecting intricate components and tools based on blueprints, sketches, drawings, and verbal instructions, utilizing a range of machining tools and equipment (including mills, lathes, boring mills, drill presses, saws, and other machining apparatus) while applying mathematical and geometrical calculations. Establishing the setup and operation of machines according to the received instructions. Conducting minor repairs on equipment. Ensuring the work area is clean and devoid of safety hazards. Upholding an acceptable level of quality and efficiency. Employing measuring or layout instruments such as verniers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, height masters, gauge blocks, angle plates, V-blocks, bore and pitch gauges, protractors, squares, and dividers.

Qualifications

Possess 5 years of experience

in a machine shop or have successfully completed a recognized

apprenticeship as a General Machinist.

Capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and executing tasks based on work order routing sheets.

Proficient in machining to a drawing tolerance of .0005"

when necessary. Must be able to exhibit General Machinist skills in at least one of the following areas: Lathe Milling Must be capable of setting up and utilizing machine shop power and pneumatic tools. Must have the ability to design and manufacture fixtures and templates. Must be able to create layouts according to drawings.

Must possess an understanding of GD&T tolerances.

Experience in operating forklifts, cranes, plate clamps, and slings.

Familiarity with operating CNC machines, specifically with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls.

Job Type: Full-time Pay:

$19.54-$32.64 per hour
