Job Description

Summary:

Programs, sets up and operates 5-Axis CNC milling machines.

Responsibilities:

Studies blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications, and/or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.

Perform manufacture of products as directed in accordance with the applicable instructions as stated and specified in the Traveler.

Complete regular production plans, establishing priorities; monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.

Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

Ensure continuous training in order to eliminate non-conformance and to ultimately provide a superior product and/or services to the customer.

Carry out in-process inspection in conjunction with Quality Policy Procedures.

Participate in all quality related activities of the organization and reports any inadequacies to the Department Manager or their delegate.

Qualifications

Extensive experience with CNC milling machines Proficient in Fanuc programming, plus knowledge using Heidenhein and Siemens controls would be an asset Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use calipers Skilled in Mastercam and CAD software Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and assembly processes

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 48 per week
