We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and operation, with the ability to work with various machining tools and equipment. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality parts that meet specifications.

Duties

Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements. Operate CNC machines using Fanuc controls, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy. Utilize CAD software, such as Gibscam, for designing parts and creating machining programs. Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure proper functioning. Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing practices for improved efficiency. Assist in assembly tasks as needed, utilizing hand tools and power tools effectively. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

Proficient in CNC programming and operation, specifically with Fanuc systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in machining processes. Familiarity with CAD software, particularly Gibscam for design purposes. Ability to read blueprints accurately and translate them into actionable tasks. Basic math skills for calculations related to machining dimensions and tolerances. Experience operating CNC lathes and milling machines effectively. Competence in using calipers, hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to enhance production efficiency.
