Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, proficiency in CNC programming, and experience operating various machining equipment. This role involves setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines such as lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts according to detailed specifications. Candidates with expertise in CAD software like SolidWorks and blueprint reading will excel in this position. The CNC Machinist plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality production while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.

Duties



Program CNC machines using

[Surfcam / OneCNC ]

. Set up and operate CNC

mills/lathes

(e.g.,

Haas, Fadal

, etc.). Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T symbols. Select tools, speeds, and feeds for optimal machining performance. Perform first-article inspections and verify part conformity. Troubleshoot machining issues and make process adjustments. Maintain equipment, tooling, and a clean workspace. Collaborate with engineers and production leads to improve workflow. Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role within manufacturing environments. Proficiency with CNC programming software (OneCNC, Surfcam Etc.) Mechanical knowledge of machining processes and equipment operation. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files (SolidWorks preferred). Familiarity with measuring tools: calipers, micrometers, height gauges. Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, and assembly processes is a plus. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is desirable. Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment is an advantage.
