CNC Machinist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with CNC programming, operating CNC lathe and milling machines, and working with various machining tools. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings to produce high-quality components.

Duties

Operate CNC machines including lathes and milling machines to manufacture parts according to specifications. Program CNC machines using Fanuc controls and other relevant software. Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and SolidWorks designs to ensure accurate production. Perform quality checks using calipers and other measuring tools to maintain product standards. Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as necessary for assembly tasks. Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing principles for efficiency improvements. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in CNC programming and operation of CNC lathe and milling machines. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Familiarity with CAD software, SolidWorks, and blueprint reading is essential. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes. Experience with hand tools, power tools, forklift operation, and assembly tasks is preferred. Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices is a plus.
