Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist (Milling) to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and setting up CNC milling machines to fabricate precision parts according to engineering specifications. This role involves interpreting blueprints, programming CNC equipment, and ensuring precision in machining processes to meet production requirements.

Duties

Proven experience in Mastercam CNC programming and machining operations. Operate CNC milling machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Program CNC machines using Mastercam, and other relevant software.

Skills

Proficiency in CNC programming and operation, particularly with Fanuc systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience with SolidWorks and CAD software for design purposes. Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Basic math skills for calculations related to machining processes. Familiarity with various machining techniques, including welding when necessary. Competence in using calipers, hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency in production.
