We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced
CNC Machinist
to join our team on a part-time or freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and programmingHAAS CNC lathes and milling machines
, and be capable of performing tasks independently with minimal supervision.Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and program HAAS CNC lathes and mills Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files Perform precision machining to meet exact specifications and tolerances Conduct routine maintenance and machine inspections Ensure quality control and production efficiency Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
Minimum
7 years of CNC machining experience
Proficient in operating and programmingHAAS CNC
lathe and milling machines Ability to work independently and troubleshoot machining issues Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipPreferred Qualifications:
Certification or diploma in machining or related trade Experience with a range of materials including metals and plastics Familiarity with CAM software (an asset)
Compensation:
$35 - $42 per hour
