CNC Journeyman Machinist

Job Summary
The CNC Journeyman Machinist (Red Seal) is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machinery to produce precision components according to engineering specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Opportunities for travel may be available to support installation or service work.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and set up CNC mills and lathes efficiently Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T Determine appropriate tooling and machining methods for each task Inspect components and resolve machining or quality issues Mentor apprentices and maintain a clean, safe workspace
Qualifications
Red Seal Journeyman Machinist certification CNC machining experience in a manufacturing or job-shop environment Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machining processes Proficient with precision measuring tools Ability to work independently Willingness to travel occasionally, as required
Work Environment
Machine shop or manufacturing setting Standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks required Shift work and overtime may be required
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
