Taeron Systems is a growing aerospace company specializing in R&D, design, engineering, and manufacturing of aviation equipment primarily in the helicopter industry. We are a small, close-knit team of aerospace enthusiasts and have built our reputation on rapidly innovating to provide our customers with new technologies and innovative products.
We are searching for someone to join us in a flexible 'Maker of Things' role. This is primarily a machinist, programming and operating a CNC lathe and mill. Other activities may include mechanical/electrical assembly, testing, etc. The successful candidate will be keen to take up slack in various areas of the shop helping us to deliver excellent quality products.
Job Responsibilities:
Program, set up, and operate
CNC mill, lathe, and 3D Printers
Produce parts
, fixtures, and tools to required tolerances and quality standards
Interpret technical drawings and 3D models to ensure parts are
manufactured to specifications
Maintain equipment
, supplies, and material stock
Collaborate with engineers to optimize

Knowledge and
experience with CAD/CAM
programs such as Fusion 360 or Solidworks
Experience operating
CNC mills and lathes
(we use Haas and Tormach machines)
Experience making machined parts that
conform to engineering drawings
Very comfortable working with common
hand tools
Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in
Machining
; Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma; or equivalent experience
Experience working within a
quality assurance or control
program and completing required documentation
Passion for and experience in
product design and development
preferred
An

The successful candidate must pass a criminal record check and background check.
Must be a permanent resident of Canada or Canadian citizen.
