CNC Machinist

with 5-Axis milling expertise to join our team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, tables, or study sample parts to determine required machining operations and plan the best sequence. Compute dimensions and tolerances, measure, and lay out work pieces. Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of CNC 5-axis machine tools, including

DMG 80 Evo, DMU Monoblock 60/65/85, and MATSUURA MAM72

, to perform precision machining operations. Load parts, operate machine controls, set offsets, perform simple program edits, deburr, and inspect quality parts for conformance to requirements. Set offsets and make precise adjustments to ensure adherence to tight-tolerance dimensions. Perform daily maintenance of assigned machining centers and ensure proper functioning. Verify dimensions of finished products using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, height gauges, and optical comparators. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with company safety and housekeeping standards. Collaborate with QC personnel to maintain quality assurance and resolve production issues promptly.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience working as a

CNC Machinist

in the

aerospace industry.

At least 3 years of experience using

Autodesk PowerMill

for programming. At least 3 years of experience operating CNC machines with

Heidenhain Controllers

. Ability to work with minimal supervision and achieve

close tolerances up to 0.0005"

. Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make corrections and adjustments to maintain high-quality standards. Fluent in reading and interpreting part drawings and GD&T. Experience in using precision inspection tools and equipment.

Assets (not mandatory):

Forklift license. Basic knowledge of CMM operation. Familiarity with measuring machines such as ultrasonic inspection machines and profile projectors.

Employment Conditions:

Permanent, full-time employment (40 hours per week). Day shifts; overtime as required. Aerospace manufacturing environment, requires attention to detail and adherence to strict safety standards.
