Responsibilities:

Set up and operate

HAAS CNC

milling machines to manufacture parts as per specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining operations and conduct inspection of parts manufactured. Off set tools and prepare tools for CNC machines using

HAAS controls

, ensuring accuracy in dimensions and tolerances. Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Proper documentation of Inspection reports and traveler's Utilize hand tools and power tools for machining tasks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized workspace, promoting a culture of safety and quality.

Experience:

5 years of proven experience as a CNC Setup Operator in a manufacturing environment is preferred. One year experience with

HAAS CNC Machine control

is a must. Proficiency in Operating CNC machines, particularly with

HAAS control systems

. Strong knowledge of machining processes of milling and drilling. Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques is a plus. Ability to effectively use hand tools and power tools in a safe manner. Excellent blueprint reading and using skills with attention to detail in executing specifications accurately. Knowledge of measuring with instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer and Bore gauge etc. is a must.
