CNC Machinist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties

Set up and operate CNC machines, including Mazatrol systems, to fabricate parts from various materials. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate machining processes. Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments to verify the dimensions of finished products. Assemble components as required, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process. Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing principles for improved efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.

Skills

Proficiency in CNC machining techniques and operation. Familiarity with SolidWorks for design interpretation and modification. Basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations. Experience with welding is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to operate forklifts safely within the manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using various hand tools. Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices to enhance production efficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
