Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled

CNC Machinist

with experience in multi-axis machining (3-, 4-, and 5-axis). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating and setting up

Matsuura

and

Mazak

machines equipped with

Fanuc

controls, producing high-tolerance components for aerospace and defense applications.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC milling machines. Interpret blueprints, GD&T drawings, and aerospace specifications. Verify part conformance using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges). Perform program adjustments and offsets at the control as required. Conduct in-process inspections to maintain consistent quality. Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize setups. Maintain equipment and work area in compliance with AS9100D quality standards.

Qualifications

Minimum

3 years of CNC machining experience

, preferably in aerospace or precision manufacturing. Strong knowledge of

Matsuura

,

Mazak

, and

Fanuc

control systems. Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings. Familiarity with high-tolerance machining and aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium materials. Diploma or certificate in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
