Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with CNC programming and operation. This role involves setting up and operating CNC machines, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring the production of high-quality parts that meet specifications.

Duties

Set up and operate CNC lathes and CNC milling machines according to specifications. Interpret and read blueprints and CAD drawings to determine machining operations. Perform CNC programming using Fanuc controls and other relevant software. Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers to ensure accuracy in machining processes. Conduct routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing practices for efficiency. Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as needed for assembly tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

Proficient in CNC programming, mill and lathe. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery. Experience with SolidWorks and CAD software for design interpretation. Ability to read blueprints accurately and apply that knowledge in a manufacturing setting. Familiarity with basic math principles relevant to machining processes. Hands-on experience with machining techniques, including assembly and welding. Competence in using calipers, hand tools, power tools, and forklift operation. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to improve production efficiency.
