CNC Machinist
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC, lathe and milling machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in CNC programming, with experience in operating various lathe machines. This role requires proficiency in Mastercam software (set-up and programming) and the ability to read blueprints to ensure precise machining processes.
Duties
Program parts from step files or PDF drawings Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to create accurate machining specifications. Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring proper tooling and fixtures are in place, when needed. Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance, when needed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the warehouse environment. Obey all health & safety rules - wear appropriate PPE. Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
10+ years of experience and proficiency in CNC programming languages. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience operating lathes machines. Familiarity with Mastercam software for designing machining programs. Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
