Niagara Energy Products is currently accepting resumes for a CMM Inspector. This is a full-time position and based out of our facility in Brantford, ON. Purpose: This position is responsible for the flow of work in the inspection lab, delivering timely and accurate inspection services to internal and external customers through CMM, manual dimensional and visual inspection results, document and process over check results and ensure the inspection activities are documented and conform to NEP\xe2\x80\x99s Quality Management System. The CMM is a Zeiss MMZ-E gantry unit with a roll in table top platform and measures large, extremely precise nuclear components with Calypso software. In this position, you will\xe2\x80\xa6 \xc3\x98 Ensure the flow of work through the Inspection Lab meets the production schedule \xc3\x98 Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the inspection results \xc3\x98 Define, document and implement the processes performed by the Inspection team \xc3\x98 Follow and maintain Process Specifications and Work Instructions \xc3\x98 Audit the inspection processes and results \xc3\x98 Provide customer support when necessary \xc3\x98 Ensure documented information relating to inspection is completed and stored correctly \xc3\x98 Identify product non-conformances to the relevant project teams and drive the disposition on non-conforming parts \xc3\x98 Contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of the work done by the Inspection team \xc3\x98 Other duties as assigned by Management \xc3\x98 Conduct all tasks in a safe manner \xe2\x80\x93 Think Safety First \xc3\x98 Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed at all times \xc3\x98 Promote a healthy and safe working environment What you will bring to this position\xe2\x80\xa6 \xc3\x98 Previous experience in an Inspection or Production environment \xc3\x98 Post-secondary education in a related field such as Quality Assurance, Machining, Industrial Engineering or other \xc3\x98 Excellent knowledge in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications \xc3\x98 Well versed in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing \xc3\x98 Experience with metrology, in the production, assembly or inspection of parts \xc3\x98 Ability to create and manage inspection documentation such as dimensional reports and inspection procedures \xc3\x98 Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel \xc3\x98 Knowledge of Lean principles such as Process Flow, Visual Management or Kanban is an asset \xc3\x98 Experience with GD&T is considered an asset \xc3\x98 Knowledge of basic statistical analysis methods is an asset \xc3\x98 Experience working with precision parts and precision machining is an asset \xc3\x98 Experience performing root cause analysis and corrective action is and asset If you or someone you know are interested in this exciting career opportunity, please submit your resume to Human Resources in person or email it to Brooke Round and hr@niagaraenergyproducts.com In accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, Niagara Energy Products is an equal opportunity employer who is committed to providing and inclusive and barrier free recruitment and selection process.
