You will be working as part of a team that prides itself on providing precise high-quality examinations. You will be expected to work with minimal supervision and direction, which means you will need to be a self starter and confident in your imaging. We expect you to deliver safe and efficient services while minimizing patient discomfort to the best of your ability.
Major Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring patient identification and preparation are obtained prior to examination while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Handle confidential information in a sensitive manner.
Responsible to ensure that correct safety measures are taken during examination
Performing all cardiac testing techniques including Electrocardiogram (ECG) testing, MIBI and Regular Stress Testing, ambulatory BP monitoring, perform venipuncture and IV setup.
Prepare reports in a timely manner for workflow and site utilization.
Perform and maintain accurate records of daily, weekly and monthly quality control
Ensures equipment and instruments are performing in an efficient and effective manner.
Follows procedures for proper equipment maintenance in accordance with the department standards.
Utilizes appropriate precautions and works in compliance with relevant policies, health and safety legislations and best practices
Properly monitor and dispose of biological and/or radioactive waste.
Maintain appropriate radiation safety records
Ensures adequate inventory of supplies, materials, and drugs are stocked and drawn up for the exams.
Participate in all mandatory meetings and training where notice is provided.
Promote and encourage a positive and healthy work culture within the clinic.
Ensure workflow and process optimization.
Communicate with Cardiac Lab Supervisor for vacation coverage, sick days and appointments.
General house keeping duties.

Qualifications
CLXT/RCT designation in good standing with either ACCLXT/CSCLXTASRCT/CSCT
Experience with ECG's
IV certified
CPR and ACLS certification are assets
