Duration: Winter 2026 - 4 or 8 months (January 2026 - April OR August 2026)
Availability: *Full-time availability of 37.5 - 40 hours weekly is required to be eligible for this opportunity.

About the opportunity:
Dayforce's Product and Technology (SP&T) organization is seeking a Cloud Change Management Intern to support our global Cloud Services organization. This internship offers the opportunity to learn how change management practices are applied in large-scale cloud environments, supporting critical business operations. You will gain hands-on experience in ITIL-based change management, reporting, and stakeholder communication. Working closely with experienced Change Managers and other service management teams, you'll help ensure that changes to our cloud systems are well-documented, compliant, and executed with minimal disruption.
What you'll get to do:
  • Assist in the end-to-end change management process, learning how to log, review, and track changes.
  • Support the facilitation of Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, including preparing meeting materials and capturing notes.
  • Help review change records for accuracy and completeness under the guidance of a Change Manager.
  • Collect and analyze change management metrics, contributing to reporting and dashboards using tools like Power BI or Excel.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across SP&T to understand their needs and learn how change management supports smooth transitions.
  • Work with Incident and Problem Management teams to track and prioritize issues related to cloud changes.
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and training to deepen your understanding of ITIL principles and cloud infrastructure.
Skills and experience we value:
  • Interest in IT service management (ITIL) and cloud technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a curiosity to learn.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar) is a plus.
  • Coursework or experience in information technology, cloud computing, or business operations is an asset but not required.
  • A growth mindset, eagerness to learn from mentors, and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, global technology environment.
