Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain automation solutions for cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP. Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or Pulumi. Automate cloud provisioning, configuration, deployments, and scaling using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Create CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployments using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps. Implement automated monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions for cloud environments. Collaborate with cloud architects, DevOps, and engineering teams to define automation standards and best practices. Optimize cloud resources to improve performance, cost efficiency, and reliability. Manage containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift. Enhance and maintain automation for security compliance, including IAM roles, policies, access controls, and vulnerability mitigation. Troubleshoot automation failures, deployment issues, and cloud infrastructure incidents. Develop reusable automation scripts, modules, and templates to standardize cloud operations. Maintain clear documentation of automation workflows, architectural diagrams, and runbooks. Support cloud migration, modernization, and infrastructure transformation projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Strong experience with

AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services

and their automation capabilities. Proficiency in

Terraform

, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or other IaC tools. Solid scripting knowledge in

Python, Bash, or PowerShell

for automation tasks. Experience with

CI/CD pipelines

, version control (Git), and automated deployment pipelines. Hands-on experience with

Docker

, Kubernetes, or OpenShift for container orchestration. Strong understanding of cloud networking: VPCs, subnets, load balancers, DNS, firewall rules, routing, etc. Experience with monitoring tools like

CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic

, or ELK Stack. Knowledge of cloud security best practices, identity management (IAM), and compliance standards. Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Strong communication and ability to collaborate in Agile environments.
