About the Role

We are a growing technology company building a multi-tenant SaaS platform hosted in AWS. We're looking for a

hands-on Cloud & DevOps Engineer

who will play a key role in building, automating, and managing our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes.

This is an

intermediate-level role

ideal for someone who wants to grow in both

cloud architecture and DevOps

while also contributing to

day-to-day IT operations

in a small but dynamic environment. You'll work closely with our IT Operations Manager and assist in supporting internal systems, cloud environments, and development pipelines.

You'll also help maintain our

Azure Dev-Test environments

built with

Azure DevTest Labs

and assist with provisioning, monitoring, and optimization across both AWS and Azure.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & DevOps (Primary Focus)

Build, manage, and maintain AWS-based SaaS infrastructure (Control Tower, EC2, RDS, ECR, S3, IAM, VPC, App Runner, CloudWatch, etc.)

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as

GitHub Actions

,

AWS CodePipeline

, or

Azure DevOps Pipelines

Automate infrastructure deployments using

Terraform

or

AWS CloudFormation

Monitor performance, cost, and security of cloud environments; implement best practices and optimizations

Manage

Azure DevTest Labs

resources and assist with provisioning and policy enforcement

Collaborate with development teams to streamline build, release, and deployment processes

Contribute to system reliability through observability, backup, and disaster recovery strategies

Operational IT Support (Secondary Focus)

Assist with user support and helpdesk tickets as needed (Windows, Office 365, networking, and access issues)

Support internal servers, virtualization hosts, and endpoint systems

Help maintain documentation, configuration records, and standard operating procedures

Participate in basic system administration tasks (Active Directory, Entra ID, security groups, etc.)

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

3-5 years of hands-on experience in

Cloud Operations and/or DevOps

Strong experience with

AWS

Proficiency with

Infrastructure as Code

Experience with

CI/CD pipelines

and source control

Familiarity with

Azure

services, especially

DevTest Labs

Comfortable with

Windows and Linux

server administration

Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)

Experience with

monitoring and logging tools

Working knowledge of

networking fundamentals

, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls

Nice to Have

Exposure to

containerization

Familiarity with

Active Directory / Entra ID management

Experience with

small-business IT operations

or hybrid roles

Interest in

automation, security, and scalability

within SaaS environments
