Under the general supervision of the Manager of Client Services and Infrastructure and within established policies, procedures and guidelines, The IT Cloud & System Administrator is a key member of the operations team and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the parks' server infrastructure and cloud services. will assist with all server-side system functions to ensure servers are performing optimally and end users have high availability to systems. Management of our virtual server platform. Support critical functions like backup and recovery of data, offsite storage, server and desktop patching, antivirus scanning and definition deployments, IP device monitoring and management. Management of the Microsoft 365 environment including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams. Additionally, this role will assist with the server-side user permissions, remote access management, storage management (3PAR) and Active Directory/Azure Management.

This role will be part of the after-hours support rotation and support the IT infrastructure and the Helpdesk.



Niagara Parks offers an annual salary range of $78,850.67 to $94,234.08

for this position as well as comprehensive benefits and a defined benefit pension plan.

QUALIFICATIONS



Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field AZURE, MCSE, CISSP, CCNA, or CCNP certification a definite asset 5+ years experience in a similar role Experience with SaaS products (3+Years) 3+years experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Azure Experience with Active Directory, Windows Server Technologies, and Microsoft Office 365 Experienced in implementing virtualized server environments (VMware), setting up, configuration and support of Windows based enterprise server hardware. Deep experience with enterprise storage (ex. HP 3PAR) solutions. Experience with multi-factor authentication solutions. Customer Service focused, and able to provide weekend and weekdays after-hours support. Experience with Juniper switches and routers preferred Deep knowledge of TCP/IP networking and enterprise network security.

KEY ACTIVITIES



Oversees system backups and restores, including monthly tests. Responds to and investigates all Cyber Alerts, escalating as necessary. Processes Move/Add/Change/Delete requests for user accounts across all parks systems as needed. Creates change control requests for all system maintenance activities and seeks appropriate approvals prior to implementing changes. Performs regular system patching for servers, appliances, and network infrastructure (including OS updates, firmware upgrades, and service pack installations) using Azure Patch Management and Tenable for vulnerability scanning to ensure all systems are consistently up to date and secure. Monitors logs and performance of all network elements & servers (both on-premise & cloud). Provides second level support for tickets escalated from Helo Desk or Application team. Initiates support requests with vendors as required and follows up to ensure timely resolution of issues. Accountable for all infrastructure & cloud systems (e.g. Office 365, Active Directory, etc.) Updates and maintains enterprise software relating to backend infrastructure and tracks related inventory. Responsible for all Telephone systems Conducts regular tests of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity processes.
