About the Opportunity
This position is a member of the Urgent Care Service (short-term follow-up services), Mental Health and Addictions. Reporting to the Manager of Mental Health and Addictions, the clinician provides advanced assessment, intervention, brief follow-up, and care planning for urgent care clients across the lifespan, with the goal of stabilization and connection to necessary mental and addictions services as required. Clients may be transitioned from the emergency department crisis team and/or from other services or departments both internal and external to Nova Scotia Health.
