About Our Opportunity
Wood Street Campus is a cornerstone in providing specialized treatment services for children in the care of the Minister of Community Services. We are passionate about supporting our children and enhancing their development into successful young people in the community. The experience of fostering positive outcomes for children is very rewarding and requires a highly motivated and energetic individual! As the Clinical Therapist, you are a critical member of an interdisciplinary team at Wood Street Campus. We all work together to provide diagnostic, assessment and treatment services and programming for children with complex emotional and/or behavioral issues in the care of the Minister of Community Services.
The Clinical Therapist will provide clinical assessment and treatment services and consultation to children with complex trauma and complex emotional/behavioural presentations. The overall goal is to assist children to acquire and/or maintain skills, knowledge, attitudes, and behaviours that will enable them to participate and function as independently as possible in the community. In this role, you are a critical resource in providing support to the Interdisciplinary Team for complex clinical cases and have a direct impact on assisting children to overcome challenging circumstances.
As our children sometimes require flexibility in their care, there may also be flexibility in work options as individual circumstances may allow.
Primary Accountabilities
