Echelon Wellness is seeking a Clinical Support Administrator, reporting into the Finance Manager, to join our team in Toronto, and supporting our clinical operations across Canada as we continue to grow and expand.
Responsibilities
Manage EMR charges for completed patient appointments, ensuring accuracy of service information
Call insurance providers daily to obtain and follow up on billing authorizations
Set up and manage patient care plans
Submit client billings through insurance provider, ensuring accuracy and required documentation for all claims
Investigate and address billing and payment discrepancies in coordination with clinic staff and insurance provider
Application of invoices and payments in EMR system
Reconcile payments and maintain accurate billing records in EMR system
Manage outstanding receivables and follow up on past due invoices
Assist and support operations leadership with clinic administration as required
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Ability to perform repetitive tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
1 - 2 years experience in a similar role (preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
